New River Veterinary Specialists (not corporate!) is expanding and is actively seeking to add a Completion of an ACVIM or ECVIM approved Residency in Oncology to our team, to our growing team. As we open our new location in Pooler, GA, we are excited to offer incredible opportunities for the right candidate to join our dynamic team and help shape the future of our hospital.

Our sister hospital opened in June 2022 in Hardeeville, SC and has grown rapidly thanks to a collaborative, team-based approach to patient care, as well as a supportive community. Now, with our expansion into Pooler, we are looking for clinicians who enjoy working closely with other specialists and emergency doctors and are eager to contribute to a positive, supportive culture. We are a privately owned VECCS Level 1 trauma center along with having 7 days a week in-hospital Neurology and Critical Care coverage.

The NRVS-SC team currently includes 2 Internists, 2 Criticalists, 2 Surgeons (one also boarded in Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine), 2 Neurologists, Oncology, Ophthalmology, part time Cardiology and Dentistry, 12 Emergency doctors (and growing), a VTS-ECC, a VTS-Neurology, and an amazing team of technicians, assistants & CSR's. We are actively hiring all specialties for Pooler or an additional Oncologist at are Hardeeville location, so bring your friends and associates along. 

Our Pooler location will offer the same state-of-the-art equipment as our sister hospital, including:

• USP 800 approved hood and chemotherapy suite,
• Dedicated examination and procedure area with the plan to add radiation therapy department in the future
• 16-slice helical CT (1.5-Tesla MRI at Hardeeville location)
• Dedicated intensive care unit with long-term mechanical ventilation and high-flow oxygen therapy
• A full in-house laboratory
• Multiple ultrasound units
• In-house blood bank and component therapy

Requirements:

Completion of an ACVIM or ECVIM approved Residency in Oncology 

Eligibility for veterinary licensure in the states of Georgia and South Carolina
