Company Overview
Uniontown Veterinary Clinic is a small animal exclusive practice that practices advanced medicine with a hometown touch. Our practice is team-oriented and strive for 5-Star patient care and 5-Star client service. We have two locations; one in Uniontown, Ohio and one in Canton, Ohio (Belpar Pet Care Centre).
Both practices are well-equipped (surgical laser, laser therapy, digital radiography, ultrasound, high-speed dental equipment, Idexx suite, and more). Our doctors enjoy teaching students and recognize the importance of utilizing their support staff. We also practice an open management style, so our employees don't just work for the owners, they work WITH the owners. This is a great practice for those that are great workers and have great work ethic, have ideas and initiative, and appreciate being a part of team.
Company History
Uniontown Veterinary Clinic has been a art of the Lake Township community for almost 40 years. In 2009, Dr. Joe Gainey and his wife, Angela, purchased the practice. They practice still has that hometown, small community feel, but the hours have been expanded and many services have been added. The practice now has three veterinarians; Dr. Joe Gainey, Dr. Denise Baltic and Dr. Vedessa Meluch.
Belpar Pet Care Centre has been in the Belden Village/Canton area for over 30 years. In 2012, the Gainey's purchased it as a second practice. Belpar Pet Care Centre began to expand hours and add additional staff and services to match Uniontown Veterinary Clinic, as well as opening up a boarding facility within the practice. Belpar has two veterinarians, Dr. Gainey and Dr. Meluch, and it currently searching a third veterinarian.
Notable Accomplishments / Recognition
Owners named 2013 BUSINESS PROFESSIONALS OF THE YEAR by Lake Township Chamber of Commerce and Uniontown Veterinary Clinic received the HORIZON AWARD from the Green Chamber of Commerce in 2015.
