Are you an experienced, credentialed Veterinary Technician with a passion for mentorship, patient care, and team development? VCA Kelliwood Animal Hospital is seeking a strong, motivated leader to join our growing team and help guide the next chapter of excellence in our hospital.
Located in the heart of Katy, Texas, Kelliwood is a well-established, fast-paced practice with a loyal client base and a reputation for delivering high-quality, compassionate care. In this role, you’ll work side-by-side with hospital leadership to support daily operations, elevate patient care, and foster a positive, productive environment for our technical staff. You’ll have the opportunity to lead by example, train and mentor fellow technicians, and implement protocols that help the entire hospital operate at its best.

Education and Experience:
Graduation from an AVMA Accredited Veterinary Technology Program
Current LVT credentialing
Prior supervisory experience
The successful candidate will have skills and abilities as follows:
Strong medical skills.
Customer Service.
Human Resources knowledge.
Supervisory experience.
Experience with scheduling staff
Knowledge of sales and marketing techniques.
Good communication skills, both written and oral.
Goal oriented.
Ability to take information obtained from clients, staff, and other sources, discern that which is credible and assess the hospital and its operation objectively.
Must be able to handle multiple tasks at once, and deal with high levels of stress in an environment of changing priorities.
Must have strong medical skills.
Ability to plan, organize and effectively present ideas and concepts.
Ability to direct workflow on the floor.
Coach and mentor staff.
Assist with interviews.
Ensure the policies, procedures and guidelines are followed.
Must be able to handle multiple tasks at once and deal with high levels of stress in an environment of changing priorities.
